My life is considered my best teacher. My life took me on many routes and journeys . I have experienced some ups, downs, many life learning lessons that makes me who i am today. That is a humble servant of positivity and faith. I grew as a student of special needs. And even was put into special ed classes to help with my learning disability. From that, it gave me the drive to want to learn how to help and care for those who cannot help themselves. It never occurred to me to allow to myself feel less limited due to my having a learning disability. It made me want to try harder and grow stronger. I am proud to say that this experience has given me the opportunity serve other children in education. I am currently working part time for an after school program called Footsteps After school Care Inc at Nesbit Elementary school as a teacher assistant. There I serve 4-5 graders on homework assessments and physical outdoor activities. And I also currently working part time for IHSS (In Home Support Services) as a caregiver. I am also proud to announced that I am a graduating senior at Notre Dame de Namur University pursuing my degree in Human Services, for the Evening Studies Program.
